GENOA— Twin River Schools has reached a settlement agreement with a former employee.

The Twin River Board of Education is set to act on a settlement agreement with former school counselor Dan Koziol when they meet on July 15 for their regular monthly meeting. The board will also vote on his resignation at the meeting.

The school district had called a special meeting last month to discuss Kozoil’s contract. The meeting was canceled and Kozoil’s resignation was added to the July agenda. The job opening has been posted to the district’s website.

The district declined comment on the situation, and attempts to reach Kozoil were unsuccessful.
